Summary

Orphaned and alone, Eul-young crosses mountains and rivers to marry a man she has never seen nor heard of. In a remote countryside wedding stripped of ceremony, her only wishes are simple—that her husband not be violent, and that he at least look normal. But the man she meets exceeds all expectations, leaving her shaken and breathless. What begins as fear and uncertainty on her wedding night soon reveals the overwhelming reality of marriage in a world where innocence collides with raw desire.
