Summary

A police officer named Warden is dispatched to a remote island to find the whereabouts of a missing colleague. While interviewing the island villagers, he comes across the town’s outsider, Skoll.Skoll is vile and completely inconsiderate of others, carrying an attitude that seems to look down on everyone except himself.Yet somehow, he clumsily fails to hide the feeling that he knows something. Because of this, Warden keeps going back to see him.Then, in Skoll’s house, Warden discovers traces that suggest his colleague may have been murdered…“I’m curious how you’re different from Balt.
