Her voice, barely above a whisper, trembled as she finally responded. “Y-Yes, Master...” Kanna knew well that, beneath his fearsome demeanour, Damian could be kind. Even though she was forced to lie to him, she was painfully aware that it was for his own sake. That was why she had already made up her mind. For his sake, she would leave.
