Summary

A military policeman, Taka'akira, couldn't stand his childhood friend, Chiaki's way of living...he doesn't work, just plays around with women every day using money he had inherited. Recently, Taka'akira's team has been working on "Ladykiller" cases--victims were all young men, their faces ripped off and their arms and legs chopped off. After warning Chiaki about the serial killer, Taka'akira encountered a monster...which a young girl sliced with her sword. She was Kikyo--a priestess who exorcises Magatsuhi. Next day, he was told that he was transferred to Special Branch Zero, a special team that deals with Magatsuhi, inhuman evil beings in this world. He is now the partner of Kikyo...but he has a feeling he had met her long ago...when?
